Capoeira is a Brazilian art form which combines fight, dance, rhythm and movement.
Capoeira is a dialog between players – a conversation through movement which can take on many shades of meaning.
This method of combat was disguised, accompanied by dance and music, in order to escape the control of the oppressors, until a change in social conditions and a reduction of police repression took place. After nearly a hundred years, finally it turned into a training game between friends. This today is one of the most characteristic features of Capoeira.
